Little Smashers (4-6 years)
Kids will improve their balance, agility and co-ordination (ABC’s) through fun games while learning how to play padel. At this stage it’s not about winning or losing, it’s getting to grips with the basics. Being active and fun is at the centre of everything we do.
We use a passport rewards initiative for each category using stickers and certificates to provide successes and rewards as an integral process of the learning journey.
-
Mighty Smashers (7-9 years)
Children practice serves, volleys and learn how to rally, whilst developing their co-ordination, balance, speed and agility. Still with soft balls and small courts they’ll be introduced to relaxed competition too.
As children grow older and develop so does the content and delivery within the pathway, progressing to a more 'Skills Competency' system.
-
Mega Smashers (10-13 years)
Time to throw in some tactics, problem-solving, match play, sportsmanship and leadership. They'll know all of the rules and will be serving, returning and starting to play systems.
