Who we are

I traded sunshine for rain and found love, (and roast dinners), along the way. People ask “What are you doing here? Don’t you miss the weather?” The answer is in my heart: I fell for a charming Englishman (yes, love knows no borders). Like any true Spaniard, Sundays in our home are a delicious blend of paella (without chorizo) and a roast dinner.

Sports have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, it’s in my DNA. I’ve always been ambitious, always pushing myself to give my best. That drive, by a lucky twist of fate, led me to discover Smash Padel, and what a brilliant coincidence it was! I’ve always had a special connection with kids and now I get to share the fun with them! At Smash Padel, my mission is to make the sport fun, exciting, and most importantly, inclusive. Everyone deserves to feel welcome on the court, no matter their background or ability. Inclusivity is something I’m really passionate about—it shapes everything I do, both at work and in my personal life. Finding my way back into sport after my first pregnancy was hard. Nervous to go back to tennis, I looked for something with less impact and where I could make new friends. Padel was perfect. And I can’t wait to get my little one involved as soon as I can! Working with disadvantaged youngsters over the world gave me a sense of appreciation that has impacted my life ever since. If I’m down, angry, frustrated or sad or any of those negative emotions, I stop and try to think of them and put my whole life into perspective.
